Press Releases

What ?

We’ll regularly write up press releases (news, tips, insights etc) and send out to journalists – in the bid of getting published pieces (from published news articles, line ups and tips / insight).

This is a Pay Per Results PR Service (in this case, published press releases).

We’ll work with you as to how many press releases to send out and what content will be well received by the press.

Press releases could be news press releases, short comments from you on topical news and events or tips, signs, tricks, ways and reasons.

What’s the damage?

We charge per article (we class an article as a link and/or printed article).

See our Pay Per Results PR fees.

We’ll need you to pay a deposit of £100+VAT for this service. This deposit is refundable if you want to leave us, minus any articles pending publication and/or balance.

The cap for this service is £600+VAT per press release (so no risk of ‘writing a blank cheque’). You could have 20 international articles and only pay £600+VAT.

Usually, once journalists receive your press release(s) they might ask for further comments, an interview or comments on another article they might be working on. You can then say ‘yay or nay’ and that would be classed as a Comment Piece.

That’s why you need to have our Pay Per Results PR – Comment Piece service if you have this service.

Brand awareness

Brand awareness

Results Explained

There’s no doubt that press can have a major impact on your marketing goals.

A big story will get picked up all over the shop (print and online) and all those thousands if not millions of eyeballs will mean your website will explode with new users. That means your key page views, enquiries and sales will soar.

You’ll also have the residual benefit of brand awareness (more people know about you) and online articles with backlinks will help your SEO (meaning more people will be finding you from their website searches).

We’re no strangers to making these big results happen – just ask Hanson Fitness or GI Collection.

However, it really will take a big, juicy story or an agglomeration of PR efforts to get these Results. As with blog posts, one piece of press does not a business make.

A collection of PR efforts will help you with:

More brand awareness means more people will be coming across your website (Organic search & Direct traffic). Online articles with backlinks will see some more Referral traffic (from clicking on the links through to your website) coming onto the website; and finally, with your fancy new backlinks, your SEO will improve – meaning more Organic search traffic.

More users on your website – without question – means more key page views, enquiries and sales.

Not to mention the C redibility of being in a sexy article.

The Process

  1. The Pitch – similarly to writing up anything for you – we’ll pitch to you some ideas, you can tell us what you want or we can all put our heads together! Some of these ideas can be very topical – so the sooner we get out your comments / tips / insights – the better.

  2. Getting the deets – once we’ve got an idea locked down you can either give us some pointers for the press release (via, WhatsApp or a voice note) or we can write up our ideas for you to edit / sign off.

  3. Written up – we’ll get the press release written up and whiz it over to you to approve (unless it’s a comment from you – then we will send it straight out).

  4. Approval / ready to go – you can give us any edits you’d like to make and once you’re happy it’s ready to go out to the press.

As with all our services, our efforts are reported in real time on your board – from pitch ideas and press releases to published articles.

And of course, we can chat via our Whatsapp group.

Additional information

This is an opportunity to present the mainstream press with mainstream content they can use. The more general and topical, the more chance of it getting published.

The number of press releases we write and send out is at our discretion as is the content. We’ll give you a steer as to what type of press release / content will resonate with journalists. We’ll pitch ideas to you. Typically, we’d suggest 2 press releases a month.

Sending out regular press releases is a great exercise for building awareness with the press – so even if pieces aren’t picked up initially – it’s well worth doing. The content can also be repurposed for blogs and subsequently newsletters.

As a result of sending out a press release, sometimes journalists will be keen for comments, interviews (which we class as comment pieces) or reviews. We’ll guide you on which Pay Per Results PR services will be more useful to you.

We won’t be able to share our journalist list(s) with you, but we’ll always give you a flavour of who we’ll communicate with to give you an idea.

All press releases (except comments for the press) will only be sent out with your approval – we want you to be involved too!
